Bibliotheca Alexandrina to host Costa Salafists seminar

Seminar will discuss how to improve level of public discourse in Egypt and develop friendship and cooperation between all segments of society

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina's Unit of Futuristic Studies is to host members of Costa Salafists for a seminar called Sand Palaces on Saturday 8 September at 6pm.

Speakers include Bassem Victor, who will introduce his experience with the Salafists over an 18 month period, Mohamed Tolba, and director and scriptwriter Ezzat Amin, the founders of the group.

The seminar will discuss how to end the prevalent negative public discourse in Egypt and how to move towards friendship and cooperation between all segments of society.

Costa Salafists was launched in April 2011 by Salafists but has developed to include members from various backgrounds and ideologies.

The seminar will take place at 6pm at the BACC Multipurpose Hall and is open to the public.
