'Biscuits and Molasses' by: Hatem Hafez
Amaly publishing house will host Egyptian writer and playwright Hatem Hafez on Thursday 9 January at 6pm to discuss his newly released short story collection entitled Baskawit w-Assal Eswed (Biscuits and Molasses).
Writer and journalist Sayed Mahmoud will chair the discussion at the publishing house’s headquarters in Falaki Square, downtown Cairo.
Hatem Hafez, 39, is also assistant professor of drama at the High Institute for Theatre at the Egyptian Academy of Arts. He won the Arab Playwrights Forum prize in 2011 for his Play Hekayet Doha (The Tale of Doha).
