The International Prize for Arabic Fiction (the Arabic Booker) is open for submissions for 2015.
Each publisher is allowed to submit three novels published for the first time between 1 July 2013 and 30 June 2014.
If a work submitted is by a previously shortlisted author, this will not be counted in the publisher's three novel submission quota.
The winner of the 2014 prize will be announced at a ceremony in Abu Dhabi on 29 April, on the eve of the opening of the Abu Dhabi Book Fair.
The shortlist, announced on 10 February 2014, includes Egypt's Ahmed Mourad, Syria's Khaled Khalifa, Iraqi authors Inaam Kashachi and Ahmed Saadawi, and Moroccan authors Youssef Fadel and Abdelrahim Lahbibi.
