One of the most notable achievements of the General Organisation for Cultural Palaces in Egypt was the “Reading for All” project that entailed reprinting works of renowned Arabic writers in a cheaper edition, giving Egyptian booklovers access to books they would otherwise have missed because of prohibitive prices or lack of distribution.
