Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Thursday denounced the head of the pro-Kurdish opposition party's criticism of Ankara's decision to shoot down a Russian warplane over Syria last month as a "disgrace" and "treason".
Selahattin Demirtas, co-head of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), met with the Russian foreign minister in Moscow on Wednesday and criticised Ankara for shooting down the warplane.
