Some Republicans in Congress say Donald Trump should study up on public policy if he wants to unify the party.

Alabama's Jeff Sessions — Trump's top Senate supporter — tells ABC's "This Week" that Trump "is going to need to learn ... how complex this world is" — particularly on foreign policy.

Tom Cole — an Oklahoma congressman — says Trump, more than most candidates, "is a work in progress."

House Speaker Paul Ryan — who's said he's not ready to endorse Trump yet — met with Trump last week, and the two came away saying they'll find ways to agree and unite the GOP for the general election campaign against the Democrats.

Ryan's predecessor as speaker, John Boehner (BAY'-nur), has said he thinks Ryan is trying to educate Trump.
