Trump's pick for US ambassador to Israel says intends to move residency to Jerusalem

US President Donald Trump's pick for ambassador to Israel, David Freidman, announced Sunday he wuld be moving his residency from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem if confirmed by the senate, Middle East News Agency reported.

Friedman is a hardline supporter of Israel, including Tel Aviv's construction of illegal settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories in the West Bank and east Jerusalem.
