Hamas warns against attacks committed by Jewish settlers during the past few weeks, as well as the accelerating pace of settlement building in the West Bank.
In its monthly report issued on Friday, the Islamic Resistance Movement divulged the Israeli government's approval for building and expanding 70 settlements in the period from January 16 to February 15.
The report referred to the demolition and evacuation of 17 Palestinian houses and displacement of Palestinian families this month from their villages that lies under full control of the Israeli authorities.
Hamas, moreover, pointed out to the harsh security strictures encountered by the Palestinians regarding their right to peaceful assembly and the establishment of unions and civil institutions, especially with the closure of two suspected Hamas-afiiliated Palestinian institutions in Jerusalem.
