Africa's COVID-19 cases surpass 7.76 mln: Africa CDC

The death toll from the pandemic across the continent stands at 195,475

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Africa has reached 7,763,616 so far.

The Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) said in a press release that the death toll from the pandemic across the continent stands at 195,475, while 6,912,037 patients have recovered from the disease so far.

According to the statement, 2.5 percent of the population in Africa have been vaccinated so far.
