Israel's army on Thursday entered five towns in the West Bank and arrested 11 Palestinians, mostly from their homes, according to reports from the Palestinian Prisoners' Society, an NGO based in the West Bank.
Three men were arrested in Husan village, west Bethlehem, indentified by the NGO as Mohamed Sabatin, 20, Mahmoud Sabatin, 19, and Mahmoud Suleiman, 20.
In the northern West Bank, three men were arrested from the city of Qalqilya's northern entrance – Mahdi Labbat, 24, Ahmed Salama, 19, and Ahmed Abu Haniya, 22, who was recently freed after spending a year-and-a-half in Israeli prison.
Two others were arrested in the city of Jenin, Abdal-Jaber Anfiat and Mahmoud Shibani, according to PPS.
Arrests also took place in Ramallah, where Annan Suleiman, 16, and Alaa Suleiman, 28, were seized, as well as in Nablus, where Eissa Kassab was arrested.
In its monthly report issued on Wednesday, PPS said that Israeli arrested 150 Palestinians in the city of Hebron in August – including 20 hospital patients, 15 school and university students, five injured persons and 50 minors.
Palestinian prisoners received fines totaling 35,000 shekels (around $9,700), PPS stated in its report.
The dozens of arrests took place during Israel's eight week offensive against the Gaza Strip that ended with a ceasefire on 26 August and left over 2,000 Palestinians killed.
