Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas on Friday accused Israel of waging a "war of genocide" in Gaza and vowed to seek war crimes prosecutions.
"We will not forget and we will not forgive, and we will not allow war criminals to escape punishment," Abbas said in a speech to the United Nations General Assembly.
Abbas called for an end to Israeli occupation, telling the United Nations that years of negotiations had failed to yield a peace deal.
"It's high time for this settlement occupation to end now," Abbas said.
