Shiite militiamen in Yemen allowed Prime Minister Khalid Bahah to leave his residence on Wednesday after a two-day siege, a spokesman said.

Spokesman Rajih Badi said Baha's departure was "negotiated" with the Huthi fighters. He added that Bahah had left for a "safe place" but did not say where.
