President Abdullah Gul will pay a state visit to Britain in November on the invitation of Queen Elizabeth II, the first such trip by a Turkish head of state in 23 years, his office said Friday.
Gul and his wife Hayrunnisa will stay at Buckingham Palace during the November 22-24 visit, it said.
The queen had visited Turkey in May 2008.
