Russian long-range aviation has targeted targets of the Islamic State (IS) militant group in the town of Abu Kemal in the province of Deir Ezzor for the second day in a row.
The Russian Defense Ministry has announced that six Tu-22M3 strategic bombers had launched a massive strike on IS arms and ammunition depots, command posts and fortified areas that were confirmed to be destroyed by means of reconnaissance.
The strike came just a day after the Russian long-range bombers that flew over the territory of Iran and Iraq carried out a strike destroying IS targets in the town of Abu Kemal.
