Oil installations under military strongman Khalifa Haftar's control are to be transferred to the management of authorities in eastern Libya that he supports, a spokesman for the field marshal said Monday.
"All the oil installations controlled by (Haftar's self-styled) Libyan National Army are being handed over to the National Oil Corporation dependent on the provisional eastern government and that is headed by Faraj al-Hassi," the spokesman said, referring to the rival of Libya's unity government based in Tripoli.
