At least two Palestinians were killed and 45 others injured including 18 by live Israeli gunfire on Friday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said, according to the WAFA news agency.
The Israeli army fired live bullets and rubber-coated steel rounds at the demonstrators who gathered at many encampments along Gaza-Israel border as part of the March of Return protests, WAFA reported.
Israeli army also attacked three protests in the occupied West Bank villages of Kafr Qaddoum, Mazra'a al-Gharbiya and Lubban el-Sharqia on Friday, injuring at least 11 by rubber-coated rounds including a 13-year-old identified as Khaled Shtewi.
Shtewi was injured in his thighbone, and was moved to hospital for medical treatment.
More than 195 Palestinians have been killed and over 23,000 others injured by Israeli forces since the outbreak of the March of Return protests on 30 March.
