An unknown number of Islamic State fighters remain holed up in the group's last remaining enclave in eastern Syria at Baghouz, a military source in the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces militia said on Monday.
The source confirmed reports by a monitoring group that 150 militants had surrendered on Monday, saying they were among 500 people who left the enclave which the U.S.-backed fighters began assaulting in recent days.
