Hundreds of Israeli settlers stormed Ibrahimi Mosque in the West Bank governorate of Hebron at the early hours of Sunday, local sources said.
They performed Talmudic rituals at the mosque yards.
The Palestinian Awqaf Ministry has earlier condemned the repeated closures of the holy place by Israeli authorities.
