Participants in the protest waved Tunisian flags and held placards with demands to dissolve parliament and oust chairman of the Ennahada Party Rashed al Ghanouchi.

The protesters defended Saied's recent decisions believing they were necessary to save the country from an economic and a social stalemate caused by failed policies of the Ennahada Party.

They are also convinced that those decisions were meant to put an end to corruption and achieve demands of the Tunisian people.
