Palestinian PM condemns 'execution' of another Palestinian youth in Hebron by Israeli forces

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh condemned Thursday Israel's "execution" of a Palestinian youth in Hebron, and urged the US administration to intervene to stop the occupation authority's policy of field executions against the Palestinians.

The Israeli occupation forces kill for the sake of killing, Shtayyeh said.

Mahmoud Fayez Abu Ayhur, 27, a Palestinian from Halhul, to the north of Hebron in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, was shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces during confrontations in the town.

According to Palestinian news agency WAFA, the confrontations that took place in Halhul resulted in 4 injuries with live bullets, one of them in the chest, in addition to 3 injuries with rubber-coated metal bullets, one of them in the eye, which resulted in the death of the young man.
