Gaza's sole power plant restarted Monday after fuel trucks passed into Gaza following the start of cease fire brokered by Egypt ending three days of Israeli aggression.

"The plant has started working to generate electricity," Mohammed Thabet, spokesman for the company, told AFP.

The plant, which serves two million Palestinians living under Israeli siege since 2007, had shut on Saturday after running out of fuel following Israel's closure of the goods crossing.
