Jewish extremists storm Al-Aqsa Mosque under police protection
Scores of Jewish extremists Monday stormed the Muslim holy place, Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem’s Old City, under heavy protection from the Israeli police provoking Muslims observing the holy fasting month of Ramadan, according to the Islamic Waqf department, which is in charge of the Muslim holy places in occupied Jerusalem.

It said the extremists stormed the compound in groups during the early morning hours and performed Jewish rituals within its walled yards despite a decades-old agreement confining such practices to to Muslims only.
Israeli occupation forces meanwhile intensified security measures against Palestinians seeking to reach the mosque for worship during this holy month, inspecting their IDs and briefly detaining some of them.
The forces also broke into the compound and forcefully removed worshippers, many seeking to hold all-night prayers at the Mosque, in order to clear the compound ahead of the morning storming by the Jewish extremists.
