Israel arrests at least 20 Palestinians in Jerusalem and the West Bank

At least 20 Palestinians were arrested by the Israeli occupation forces in late Saturday and Sunday early morning in raids in occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank provinces of Bethlehem and Qalqilia, according to local and Palestinian security sources.

In Silwan, a neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem, Israeli occupation  police arrested three Palestinian children after raiding and searching their family home. The children were identified as Musa, Fo'ad, and Omar Jibril.

at least, three more Palestinians were also arrested by the occupation forces in the neighborhood of Al-Tour, while an additional six were arrested in Jerusalem's Old City during raids into their homes.

The Israeli occupation army also stormed the village of Husan in the West Bank province of Bethlehem, where they arrested six Palestinians after raiding and searching their homes. In the nearby village of Tuqu, in Bethlehem, another Palestinian was arrested by the Israeli forces during his presence for worship at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem​, according to witnesses and local sources.

Meanwhile, the occupation army stormed the village of Husan, in the West Bank province of Bethlehem, where they arrested six Palestinians after raiding and searching their homes.

In Qalqilia province, north of the West Bank, at least one Palestinian was reported to have been arrested by the Israeli occupation army during a raid into the town of Azzun.

Almost on a daily basis, Israeli occupation forces carry out raids targeting populated Palestinian communities for arrests or searches. The practice, mostly carried out at nighttime, has become a routine under Israeli military regime.
