During the raid, clashes broke out between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian youths, which resulted, according to the Ministry of Health, in injuring six people, three by live bullets and three by rubber bullets or tear gas, WAFA said.
Israeli authorities arrested Faroukh in December on suspicion of carrying out bombings in Jerusalem that killed two and wounded 18 in November. The Israeli army released video footage showing troops closing off the area and carrying out small controlled explosions, destroying an apartment in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.

The attack in November came after months of relentless violence in the West Bank, where the Israeli military has been conducting near-nightly raids against Palestinians.
