A large Israeli occupation force accompanied by a bulldozer broke into Nur Shams refugee camp at dawn after imposing a tight closure on it and proceeded to raid a house in the camp where the forces detained a 28-year-old former prisoner.

The forces also raided and searched a mosque and several other houses in the camp, according to WAFA.

As a result of the raid, significant damage was inflicted on the camp's infrastructure, particularly affecting the water, electricity, and sewage networks. Taha Irani, the head of Nur Shams Services Council, confirmed the extent of the damage.

Residents of the camp confronted the Israeli soldiers, leading to clashes where live bullets and tear gas were used by the soldiers.

Four Palestinians sustained injuries from live bullets, while nine others were injured by shrapnel. Several people also suffered from suffocation due to tear gas inhalation. Those injured were taken to hospitals for treatment.

In addition to the raid in Nur Shams camp, the Israeli forces conducted raids in other areas of the occupied West Bank, including Nablus, Bethlehem, and Hebron, resulting in the detention of more than a dozen Palestinians.

Meanwhile, dozens of Israeli settlers broke into the compounds of al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday under heavy protection from the Israeli police, Islamic Waqf confirmed.

The Waqf said that settlers, divded into groups, raided the holy Islamic Mosque from al-Maghariba gate and took provocative tours in its compounds.
