The occupation forces stormed the Askar refugee camp east of the West Bank city of Nablus, surrounded the house of Abdel-Fattah Kharousha, and blew it up six hours after the raid.

The house of the Kharousha family is located on the third floor of a residential building, with an area of 150 square meters. Six people reside in the house.

Kharousha was accused of shooting dead Halel Menachem Yaniv and his brother Yagel Yaakov Yaniv in February as they drove through the West Bank town of Huwara.

Israeli forces killed Khroushah, 49, during a raid the following month.

During the army raid, occupation soldiers forced about 60 Palestinians, including 20 children, whose houses were adjacent to the home of the Kharousha family, to leave their houses, and briefly detained them in a mosque.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said six Palestinians were wounded, including one by live ammunition.

Israel regularly demolishes the homes of Palestinians arguing that such measures act as a deterrent to Palestinian attacks.

Human rights activists say the policy amounts to collective punishment, as it can render non-combatants, including children, homeless.

Since early last year, deadly violence has rocked the northern West Bank, with near-daily arrest raids carried out by the Israeli military, and growing attacks on Palestinian villages by extremist Jewish settlers.

The surge in violence this year, the worst in two decades, has killed at least 212 Palestinians, 28 Israelis, one Ukrainian and one Italian, according to an AFP tally compiled from official sources on both sides.

Israel has occupied the West Bank since 1967.

Excluding annexed east Jerusalem, the territory is home to nearly three million Palestinians and around 490,000 Israelis who live in settlements considered illegal under international law.
