The statement asserts that these attacks by Hamas have successfully breached the defences of the Israeli Gaza Division, further noting that active combat was ongoing in 25 locations as of Saturday evening. Notably, the heaviest fighting was concentrated at the Israeli "Ra’im" base, serving as the headquarters for the Gaza Division’s command.

The death toll resulting from Hamas's assault on Israel has now climbed to more than 100, according to The Times of Israel. Israel's health ministry reported that 908 individuals have sustained injuries in the ongoing attack and are currently receiving treatment in hospitals.

On the Palestinian side, the Palestinian health ministry in Gaza reported that at least 198 individuals lost their lives on Saturday due to Israeli airstrikes in response to Hamas militants' rocket barrages. As of 4:20 pm (1320 GMT), the ministry disclosed that there were "198 martyrs and 1,610 wounded with various injuries" recorded in the ongoing conflict.
