The ship was received by North Sinai Governor Mohamed Abdel-Fadil Shousha, UAE Minister of State for Youth Affairs in the UAE Noura Al-Kaabi; UAE Ambassador to Egypt Mariam Al-Kaabi; and Secretary-General of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority Rashed Mubarak Al-Mansoori.
The ship is part of the "Noble Knight 3" humanitarian operation, which was launched by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to support the Palestinian people in Gaza.
The ship, which sailed from the port of Fujairah on 3 February, was loaded with 4303 tons of foodstuffs, 154 tons of shelter materials, and 87 tons of medical aid.
The aid was provided by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and the Emirates Red Crescent Authority.
The first Emirati aid ship to Gaza reached Arish on 17 December and was delivered to the strip.
Al-Mansoori noted that the shipment would head to Gaza by trucks in coordination with the Egyptian and Palestinian Red Crescent.
The UAE has also sent 160 flights with humanitarian aid to Gaza to Arish International Airport since the beginning of the war in Gaza, he added.
