Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah on Thursday said Israel "crossed all red lines" with these device explosions, vowing that it would receive "just punishment" for its attacks on Lebanon.

Lebanon's Prime Minister Najib Mikati called on Thursday for the United Nations to oppose Israel's "technological war" on the country.
Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan accused Israel on Thursday of seeking to expand the war in Gaza to Lebanon.
"The escalation in the region is alarming… we see Israel mounting its attacks towards Lebanon step by step," he said on TRT television.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned Israel’s attacks in Lebanon on Saturday, stressing that Israel is carrying out attacks like a terrorist group.
“With this attack, Israel demonstrated it has no civilian sensitivities; it can use any means to achieve its hateful ambitions,” he told media in Istanbul ahead of his departure to New York.
The region is now facing an “inexplicably huge crisis,” the Turkish president said, asserting that these attacks show Israel's ambitions to extend conflict throughout the region.
Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, condemned Israel's strike on Beirut, labelling the attacks as "terror attacks" and accusing the US of having prior knowledge of Israel’s actions.
Fu Cong, China's Permanent Representative to the UN, expressed shock at the detonation of communication devices, stating it was "unheard of" and deserving of condemnation.
Jordan's King Abdullah II warned on Friday of the repercussions of the dangerous escalation during a meeting with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, calling for an immediate and lasting ceasefire in Gaza as a first step.
On Saturday, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani condemned the "terrorist attack by the Zionist regime" on a residential building in Beirut, stating it was a "gross violation" of international law.
Hamas denounced the strike as a “cowardly assassination operation,” asserting that "the martyrs of our people... will be a flame that will scorch this artificial entity."
Lebanon’s Free Patriotic Movement condemned the Israeli strike as "criminal behaviour" that confirms Israel’s intention for an all-out war, urging solidarity among the Lebanese people.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that Israel “will not achieve the goal of increasing tension and war in the region,” asserting that it will face a "decisive response" for its actions.
On Saturday, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht Ravanchi said Israel is escalating into a more dangerous situation.
"It not only continuously blocks a ceasefire in Gaza, but plays a dangerous game in Lebanon, too,” he said, urging the international community to “force Israel to stop its adventures before it's too late."
On Friday, Iran’s Ambassador to the UN Amir Saeid Iravani called on the Security Council to condemn Israel and take decisive action to end its "malicious activities" in the region.
“We will address this internationally wrongful act in the Council meeting scheduled for this afternoon," Iravani said in a statement on Friday.
