The Lebanese resistance group said its attacks came to support the steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza, defend Lebanon, and retaliate to "Israel's brutal aggression on its cities, villages, and civilians," reported Al Mayadeen channel.

The Israeli army announced that a barrage of eight rockets was launched from Lebanon at the Tiberias area Sunday morning, setting off sirens in the city and several other towns near the Sea of Galilee.

On Saturday, the Israeli media reported that a barrage of missiles from Lebanon sparked fires in four settlements east of the occupied Jerusalem.

Israel’s army said that a projectile fired from Lebanon crashed in the occupied West Bank.

Meanwhile, the Islamic Resistance group in Iraq claimed on Sunday responsibility for launching a drone attack on Eilat in a video that displayed a photo of assassinated Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
