The Israeli unit reportedly infiltrated the city and opened fire on a vehicle, killing the four occupants.

Shortly after, Israeli military reinforcements were dispatched to Jerusalem Road from the Huwara military checkpoint before withdrawing from the area.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) confirmed that its paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the victims to Rafidia Government Hospital.

Additionally, another youth was evacuated after being injured by shrapnel from live ammunition fired by the Israeli forces.

These types of raids are a frequent occurrence in the West Bank, often carried out by Israeli forces without the need for a search warrant under Israeli military law.

These operations, justified by the search for "wanted" Palestinians, frequently lead to clashes with residents.

Under Israeli military law, commanders maintain full control over the 3 million Palestinians in the West Bank, with no input from the Palestinian population regarding how this authority is exercised.
