"The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah, continues to carry out qualitative operations against the army bases of the Israeli occupation in northern occupied Palestine and deep inside the occupation entity," the Hezbollah-affiliated TV station reported.

The Stella Maris naval base, located northwest of Haifa, and, in an earlier attack, the Ramat David airbase southeast of Haifa, were targeted in a "qualitative missile salvo," the group said in two separate statements, according to Al-Mayadeen.

In another statement, the group said it had targeted invading Israeli forces near the town of Kfar Kila with a guided missile as they tried to advance into Lebanese territory northwest of the southern village.

"The strike on Kfar Kila resulted in the destruction of the bulldozer, the killing and wounding of its crew, and confirmed casualties among the accompanying force," Al-Maydeen reported.

Less than an hour into Friday, the Lebanese group targeted a gathering of Israeli forces with artillery shells in the Jal al-Hammar area, south of the town of Adaisseh, located close to the Blue Line border with Israel, Al-Mayadeen reported.

Hezbollah also targeted the Kiryat Shmona settlement with a rocket salvo at 9am, it added in a statement, saying the attack was a warning issued by the group to a number of northern settlements.

Israeli airstrikes and bombardment of Lebanon have killed more than 3,105 and wounded more than 14,000 since 8 October 2023, according to the Lebanese health ministry,

Nearly twenty percent of the Lebanese population or 1.2 million have been displaced since Israel intensified its airstrikes on Lebanon in mid-September.
