Bin Salman condemned Israel’s aggression, accusing it of committing "crimes against innocent civilians" and violations of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

“The continued Israeli aggression against Palestinian civilians and the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque undermine all efforts to restore the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people,” he said in his opening remarks of Riyadh’s summit.

The Crown Prince also criticized Israel’s barring of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, to deliver aid in Gaza and the West Bank, calling for an immediate halt to the military operations in both territories.

“We demand an immediate end to the Israeli aggression on Palestinian territories and Lebanon,” he added.

He also called for an immediate halt to military operations and urged respect for the sovereignty of countries in the region.

He reiterated Saudi Arabia’s support for Lebanon and Palestine, stressing the need for international pressure on Israel to respect regional sovereignty.

“The international community must compel Israel to respect the sovereignty of Iran,” he said.

The summit comes one year after a similar one in Riyadh of the Cairo-based Arab League and the Jeddah-based Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), where leaders urged the international community to hold Israel accountable and protect Palestinians' rights. It underscored a sustained regional commitment to addressing the Palestinian cause.
