Iraq's parliament approved eight new ministers on Sunday, a parliamentary source said.
Lawmakers voted in favour of candidates presented by Prime Minister Nuri Al-Maliki for the ministers of electricity, trade and municipality, as well as five state ministers, the source told AFP.
Candidates for the sensitive ministries of defence, national security, planning and the interior still have not been named.
Parliament also voted on three vice presidents, two Shia and a Sunni, under a power sharing deal struck by Iraq's Shia, Sunnis and Kurds in November, eight months after inconclusive elections.
