In a statement, the resistance group said it had targeted a naval military base in the port of Ashdod at 01:00 am on April 10, using “advanced rockets.”

The group said it also targeted the Israeli military infrastructure in the city of Karmiel with a rocket barrage.

It said it also fired rockets towards the settlements of Metula and Misgav Am.

The Lebanese group added that its fighters struck the Meron Air Control Base, describing it as a surveillance and air operations facility.

Hezbollah said the attacks was carried out “in defense of Lebanon and its people” and in response to repeated Israeli violations of a ceasefire agreement, including strikes on Beirut.

It added that operations would continue until the Israeli and US aggression against Lebanon comes to an end.

The Israeli Army Radio has reported at least 30 rockets fired towards northern Israel from Lebanon since Friday morning.

The Israeli military also reported that a reserve officer had been seriously wounded and a soldier lightly wounded in a drone attack in southern Lebanon.

On Wednesday, the Israeli strikes across Lebanon killed at least 300 people, including 33 children, and wounded more than 1,150 Lebanese in less than 24 hours, sparking international outrage. The strikes also put additional strain on the fragile US-Israeli ceasefire with Iran, as Tehran and the truce's mediator, Islamabad, stated that a ceasefire with Lebanon is an integral part of the deal.

In parallel, Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem called on the Lebanese government to stop giving "free concessions" to Israel, with the two governments due to begin negotiations in Washington next week, emphasizing unity between “the state, army, people, and resistance” to protect the country and expel the Israeli occupation.

After the Israeli strikes on Wednesday, Trump told NBC News that Israel was "scaling back" strikes in Lebanon and that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had assured him its attacks would become more "low-key". Washington has said the Lebanese front of the war will be dealt with under separate talks next week

"We will not accept a return to the previous situation, and we call on officials to stop offering free concessions," Qassem said in a written message broadcast on the party's Al-Manar TV, in which he also denounced the "bloody criminality on Wednesday."

He praised Lebanese resilience and stressed that “the resistance will continue until the last breath,” adding, “we will not accept a return to the previous situation.”

Protest against the direct negotiation between the Israeli and Lebanese government has erupted in Beirut and rotesters waved Hezbollah and Iran flags during a march towards the government palace.
