Haim Assa, former strategic adviser to Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and Head of the National Security Council of the Prime Minister’s Office, condemns political leaders for the absence of an actual solution to the Gaza conflict in an opinion article on Thursday.
He also stated in his article published by an Israeli online newspaper, Ma'ariv, "Our tragedy is that our leaders are unable to acknowledge the lack of a military solution to our Gaza dilemma."
"No politician will come and lay on the table a long-term plan to stop this foolishness; it is repeating itself like playing Russian roulette with the children of the South," said Assa in response to the ongoing violence in the Gaza Strip.
Nonetheless, Assa himself did not offer any decisive answer to the debacle, as the Israeli aggression remains ongoing.
