Libya, Benghazi: A bomb was thrown from a car as it slowed past the Ouzzo Hotel. The bomb landed straight in the lobby, blasting the glass and doors at 4 am this Tuesday morning.
The centrally-located Ouzzo Hotel hosted most of the journalists covering the Libyan revolution in Benghazi.
No casualities have yet been reported.
This was one in a list of several attacks on journalists. Two Egyptian journalists were attacked in Ras Lanuf and there are reports of attacks on reporters in Zawya.
Al Fadeel Hotel in Ras Lanuf was also targeted, but rebels managed to evacuate it.
In Ben Jawwad, a French cameraman was shot in his leg, as well as his camera.
In Tebesty, the camera equipment of Ahram Online camerawoman, Rachel Anderson, was stolen. Also, the laptop and small camera of an Ahram Online reporter were also stolen at the Rajma explosion site.
