International Criminal Court's prosecutor warns Gaddafi against committing war crimes of killing civilians in Benghazi

The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) said on Friday that if Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi went ahead with his threat to attack civilians in Benghazi, it would constitute a war crime.

Luis Moreno-Ocampo, who is already investigating Gaddafi and his inner circle for possible war crimes, told reporters that the Libyan government must not attack civilians, and that there would be no impunity if such attacks took place
