Facebook resumes after longest outage in recent history

Egypt, Thailand, Japan, United States and the United Kingdom were among the countries affected

Service has resumed on Facebook after it went down for about 15 minutes on Thursday morning.

Many users found a message reading, "Sorry, something went wrong. We`re working on getting this fixed as soon as we can."
