Bolivian police say four inmates have been killed, some by gunfire, and 11 wounded in a fight among inmates in a prison in the central city of Cochabamba.
City police chief Col. Alberto Suarez told Radio Erbol that police were unable to enter the Abra prison after the killings early Monday because inmates had cut the electricity for the lights.
In August 2013, a battle among rival gangs in the Palmasola prison in the eastern city of Santa Cruz claimed 31 lives, including an 18-month-old.
