EU president Donald Tusk will join a mass rally on Sunday in Paris to show solidarity after the terror attacks on the Charlie Hebdo magazine and a kosher supermarket, his spokesman annouced on Friday.

"President Tusk received a call from President Hollande and he will go to Paris to take part in the march," spokesman Preben Aamann said.

Meanwhile, the British Prime Minister David Cameron said Friday he would join in the mass rally being staged in Paris. "I've accepted President Hollande's invitation to join the Unity Rally in Paris this Sunday -- celebrating the values behind Charlie Hebdo", he said on his personal Twitter account.

The Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy have also announced that they will attend.
