The number of people missing after last week's mass shooting attack on an island near Oslo has dropped from five to one, Norway's TV2 television channel quoted police as saying on Wednesday.
Oslo police declined to comment on the report when asked by AFP.
"We don't comment on the number of missing. We only comment on the number of dead or wounded," said police spokesman Sturla Henriksboe "I don't know where TV2 got their figure from. I can neither confirm nor deny," he said.
Police did on Saturday announce that there were four or five people missing from the island of Utoeya, where 68 people were shot dead on Friday, shortly after eight people were killed in a car bombing in nearby Oslo
