A bomb exploded at the Chilean embassy in Rome on Thursday, injuring one person, ANSA news agency reported, only hours after a bomb attack on the Swiss embassy in the Italian capital that also wounded one.

Corriere della Sera newspaper said the Chilean embassy staffer's injuries were "not serious" after the blast near Villa Borghese in central Rome.

The explosion occured hours after a package exploded at the Swiss embassy in Rome, injuring one person seriously.
