A Moroccan UN peacekeeper was killed Saturday in an attack in the Central African Republic's southeast, the United Nations said.
It said the overnight attack was staged by former rebels on a camp housing displaced people in the town of Bangassou, adding: "We confirm the death of a Moroccan UN peacekeeper."
