Three suspected terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with anti-terrorism forces in the district of Quetta in the northwest of Pakistan, DPA agency reported the spokesperson of the Pakistani Counter Terrorism Department as saying.
Pakistani newspaper Dawn reported that the shootout took place in Ghabarg village.
The suspects refused security orders to stop their vehicle, according to Dawn.
Security officials said that they found guns and bombs in the possession of the suspected terrorists.
An official speaking on condition of anonymity told the paper that the suspected terrorists were Afghanis, who were involved in terrorist operations in Quetta.
