Facebook to apply new layout

The experiment stage is over and 500 million people will log into a new design

Facebook will soon be making its new layout mandatory for all its 500 million users.

The new design consists of a tool bar displaying the user's profile pictures, status, work information and educational background.

The new design was first rolled out voluntarily as the company tested any bugs and sought feedback from users. The next phase sees the new design made applied across all accounts.
