US President Barack Obama will talk about the deadly shooting at a Denver, Colorado-area cinema around 1520 GMT during a campaign stop in the southern state of Florida, spokesperson Jen Psaki said.
"The president will address the tragedy in Aurora, Colorado in shortened remarks in Fort Myers, Florida," Psaki said.
Obama earlier released a statement saying he was "shocked and saddened" by the shooting, in which at least 12 people were killed and around 40 wounded.
