Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi congratulated US President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday for his victory in the presidential elections, expressing his hopes for Trump’s success in serving the American people.

“I extend my sincere congratulations to the US President-elect @realDonaldTrump. I wish him all the best and success in achieving the interests of the American people,” El-Sisi wrote on X.

El-Sisi also expressed Egypt's commitment to advancing peace, maintaining regional stability, and strengthening the strategic partnership between Egypt and the United States.

Jordan
 

King Abdullah II of Jordan congratulated Trump, expressing hopes that they could work together toward peace and stability.

"Looking forward to working with you again to bolster Jordan's longstanding partnership with the United States, in service of regional and global peace and stability for all," the king wrote on X.

Qatar
 

Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani congratulated Trump, saying he looked forward to "working together again ... in promoting security and stability both in the region and globally."

Qatar is a key mediator for a ceasefire deal in Gaza and the host of the largest US military base in the Middle East.

Saudi Arabia
 

Saudi Arabia's King Salman congratulated Trump, wishing him "success and wisdom in his duties to bring about security and stability in the Middle East and across the world," according to a statement published by the Saudi news agency SPA.

The king praised the close historical relations between the two friendly countries.

He said everyone is looking forward to developing and strengthening these relations in all fields for the good and interest of both countries.

Turkey
 

Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated his "friend Donald Trump."

"I hope Turkey-US relations will strengthen, that regional and global crises and wars, especially the Palestinian issue and the Russia-Ukraine war, will come to an end," the Turkish president wrote on X.

Iran
 

Iran’s government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani, according to the semi-official Tasnim news agency, said the US election would not impact the livelihood of her nation's citizens.

The Iranian currency fell Wednesday to an all-time low following the news that Trump was on the verge of clinching the US presidency again. It traded at 703,000 rials to the dollar.

Palestinian Hamas group
 

Senior Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri called on Trump to avoid the perceived policy missteps of President Joe Biden.

“We urge Trump to learn from Biden’s mistakes,” he emphasized, referencing dissatisfaction with the Biden administration’s handling of Israel’s war on Gaza.

Abu Zuhri described the Democratic Party’s likely loss as “the natural price” for its leadership’s “criminal stance” toward Gaza.

Highlighting expectations for Trump, he said the former president’s return puts him “to the test” to act on his promises.
