Speaking by telephone to Venezuelan TV, Rodriguez said she did not know the whereabouts of Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, following a series of US strikes on Caracas and other cities.
Trump said Maduro and Flores had been captured by US forces and flown out of Venezuela.
US Attorney General Pamela Bondi posted on X that Maduro and his wife -- who were earlier removed from Venezuela by the US military, according to Washington -- "will soon face the full wrath of American justice on American soil in American courts."
Bondi recalled the Maduros face charges in New York federal court on existing "Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy, Cocaine Importation Conspiracy" charges.
