Russia's supreme court on Tuesday reduced the 11 year prison term of anti-Kremlin former oligarch Mikhail Khodorkovsky by two months after he appealed his second conviction from 2010.

The court cut the sentence of Khodorkovsky and his business partner Platon Lebedev to 10 years and 10 months from 11 years. This means Lebedev should now be released in May 2014 and Khodorkovsky in August 2014, the Interfax news agency said.
